The “Bruno Masaneta” trattoria – cicchetteria (snack-wine bar) , located within the walls of the castrum in Grado, only a stone’s throw away from the Church, is a project born out of the love and passion that I, Bruno Lauto, my family and collaborators have for the wonderful world of catering.
The philosophy of the trattoria is based on a meticulous selection of quality raw materials from our bountiful territory, on respect for our local traditions and on a nod to influences from all over the world.
Our cuisine is inspired by the simplicity of traditional local dishes, which our three young chefs, Nicholas, Kenan and Zakaria, have revisited through innovation and creativity, thanks to their decades of experience gained from working in the kitchens of the most famous Italian and international restaurants.

Our wine cellar inevitably embraces our winemaking friends from the nearby Collio region, ranging from the noblest and most colourful grape varieties with a wealth of nuances and fragrances that make these wines renowned throughout the world.
Collavini, Meroi, Le Due Terre, Specogna, Ronco del Gnemiz, Felluga and Livon are just some of the first-class wines from the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia area that will both accompany and enhance the flavours of our dishes.
